Weight training and Soccer
It is not that we discourage weight training in the Becker Soccer Program, but we do not engage in weight training during our regular season training.
There are great benefits for the student with weight training during these years. However, our season does not hold conducive to regular, consistent weight-training sessions. Because of this, we do not actively encourage or schedule our athletes into these sessions. However, we do not discourage weight training in the off season or even during the season. We only encourage that the student is involved in a guided regiment that is closely regulated by a certified weight trainer.
